On this Remembrance Sunday a Requiem Eucharist will be offered on behalf of the parish for our war dead. This will not be a public service. There will be a 5-10 minute Act of Remembrance at the memorial at 11am. Due to the current lockdown restrictions a formal gathering is not taking place, but of course if anyone is in the High Street at that time we trust they would take time to respectfully pause and observe the silence.

In place of a Remembrance service we have made this film to mark our village tribute in which residents of today evoke our longing for peace and the sacrifice of our community in times of war. I commend this very moving tribute to you.
